QUICK LINKS

I am a Canadian teacher currently employed by the American International School of Antananarivo, Madagascar where I am teaching Design & Technology, with various other committees and responsibilities related to technology and staff development. This is my 17th year as a professional educator! Yikes!

My Canadian (Ontario) teaching certification is Primary-Junior, I have additional qualifications in educational technology, and also International Baccalaureate training for teaching Design at both the MYP and Diploma Program level (Middle and High School). I have a Master of Education degree from Framingham State Univerisity in Massachusetts.

Internationally, I began with a successful post as a Technology Integrator and Instructional Designer at the American School of Guatemala. I am especially proud of my time as Digital Learning Specialist in the Upper School Division of the International School of Prague, which was a full-time Instructional Design position, mentoring under and working with some of the most respected technology specialists in the world.

Craving a return to the classroom to work directly with students, I moved to Mozambique to teach MYP Design at the American School of Mozambique.

I am currently working at the American School of Madagascar as the middle and high school Design and Technology teacher. In addition to my classroom duties, I am co-founder and co-chair of our annual school Maker Faire. I am an active member of Blended Learning Committee, Technology Committee, School Continuance Committee and lead a Visible Thinking Professional Learning Community.
