Taking The Complexity Out Of Concepts PLI
This PLI dove-tailed nicely with the Visible Thinking stuff I have been working on the past couple of years. Very worthwhile!

This is a pretty sweet @tinkercad design from one of my Grade Six students. Print-in-place hinges. #fishy #noassemblyrequired #3Dprinting #ASAMadagascar #AfricaEd #AISAMakers pic.twitter.com/MpEVtrjwun

I've always been a big Photoshopper, but I'm really trying to branch out to get a grip on some of the other big components, like Premiere, After Effects and Animate. I'm taking some online classes and plugging away on some personal projects.
A little After Effects project:
It's a good day for a design teacher when a Grade 6 student comes in at lunch with a prototype incorporating custom-made, hinged, print-in-place components.

Full design not pictured, we're just testing the mechanism. @tinkercad @UltimakerEd #3Dprinting #AfricaEd pic.twitter.com/jvqDjpfrgA
My Grade 7 students are trying lots of new things with #Tinkercad - this intricate design was made with the Smart Duplicate tool and the Glow circuit assembly. It relied on our new Ultimaker 3 and PVA dissolvable filament to get it made. @Tinkercad @UltimakerEd #AfricaEd pic.twitter.com/UmNbkYxiGm

My Grade 7's are working on pushing their #Tinkercad skills to the next level by #3Dprinting two-color prints on our new Ultimaker 3. @tinkercad @UltimakerEd @AISA_Schools #DesignEd #AfricaEd pic.twitter.com/Q6xnvT0fvN
